"Very nice and quiet place. Entire complex was renovated last year."
I have lived here for four years. I just signed another 12 month lease. The first year was terrible, there were break-ins, a rat problem in one of the units, the entire complex just looked beaten-down inside and out. On top of that the management was terrible, not understanding, really could care less, until it was time to renew your release or not. I'm glad that I ended up renewing my lease for a small increase. The reason why it was a small increase is because they had a little over 90% of the units occupied. I was new to the area and I really didn't want to move again. Even though I wasn't happy with the management, the unit and the overall complex I wanted to stay for another year and then move. The last 2 1/2 years have been great, the new owners have renovated the entire complex. If there wasn't new owners and management I would've definitely left. The same management has been here ever since the owners for the property. Dustin the property manager is great. He goes out of his way to get the job done and to do the right thing. There's a reason why management and maintenance hasn't really had much turnover since they replaced the past employees. The owners have implemented armed security guards overnight. I also noticed I don't have an insect problem since they changed pest control companies. It's also much quieter with the "problem" tenants gone . The price of a two bedroom one and a half bath is fair - it's not low but it's not super high, for what you get it's a good deal. The size of the units are definitely larger compared to the competition.

Make sure you see what unit you're actually going to move into before signing the lease. Get a feel of the area, in the complex where you will be living. Just ask a lot of questions and have them written down. Make sure your read your entire lease before you sign.
