"It's worth a try"
I've been living in this complex for a few months now and I really got my hopes up when I first saw the place. The apartments are cozy and clean and the people in the office were very friendly whenever we met. What I'm concerned about is the lease being very restrictive, considering the rent is pricier than most. There's a penalty of 10% per day if you don't pay your rent on time and you have to pay the entire year if you move out before the date agreed on your lease. That wouldn't really be a problem if it was the only one. The walls in the apartment are quite thin so there is a lot of noise coming from the neighbours. There's not enough parking space for everyone. Overall, I really like the place and how they maintain it, but it would be nice to see some of this issues adressed by the management. So far, I don't regret moving here, I just hope that doesn't change.
"Big safety concern"
The Greene is just too expensive for the kind of service you get. I have been sending complaints over and over again about the snow that's been piling up in front of my apartment. They keep saying they will send staff to plow it and remove the ice, someone might just slip and break their neck in the meantime. I can't even get my car out, as if parking was not bad enough already. On top of it all, I keep hearing neighbours complaining about someone selling drugs in the building, so I'm a bit freaked out on that matter. I don't know what to think of it, honestly the area doesn't seem very safe. The grounds are not very well lit either so now I'm scared of going out in the evening. I hope they solve this issues fast, otherwise I will be forced to move out.
I've been living at The Greene for almost a year now and I am pleased to say I'm planning on extending my lease. The apartments are just wonderful, a lot of space, with all the necessary upgrades and very clean. The whole building is well kept, I had no maintenance issues so far. The price is convenient for what you get, considering there is a swimming pool and a gym. The one thing that I'm more and more annoyed by is the residents not picking up after their dogs. It's just really frustrating to get your shoes dirty like that right when you leave for work. Apparently, there have been a lot of complaints about this and the people from the office are trying their best to put an end to it.
I recently rented an apartment here at The Greene. So far, I haven't found any serious reasons to complain. It's mostly families and young couple living here, so there's a minimum level of noise. The people in charge of the property seem nice and helpful. I had some trouble with the A/C right after I moved in, they were prompt to respond and the person they sent in fixed it within a couple of hours. The trash system they use seems to me a bit unusual. They pick it up once a week from your front door, which I think is not efficient since a lot of garbage can pile up within a week. But other than that, it looks like I made a good choice in moving here.
