"It feels like home already"
I moved at Heritage almost two months ago and it feels like home already. They accepted me with Mister Cat and that was enough for me at the time. Then, right in my first week I joined a planned social activity exclusive for the residents that made me get to know my neighbors and their style of living. In the end, I've found a mini-group of joyful people, with no bad attitudes and such a professional staff. I hope to see more events from our community because they really work their magic in terms of socializing and having fun.
"It doesn't deserve a second of your time"
C'mon, let's be honest, this is not a place that deserve even one chance/visit. My daughter and her husband have been living here for a few month and their life is more than miserable because of that. The staff is the worst part of this complex. They promised better things for this community, after that they lied, robbed and treated my daughter with no respect, they pass the guilt from one to another. Extremely expensive place. Noise is a daily issue, doesn't matter if we're talking about dog barking or loud music from the apartments next door. Ah, speaking about dogs, let me tell you that most of the residents own a dog and they are not even capable of cleaning up after their animals. Miserable! I'm not going to stay and watch how this kids struggle with this bad staying.
"Quiet and Close to Campus"
At the Heritage Apartments, the management staff was available every day of the week to help with anything that you need. On one occasion, the pilot light on my unit's furnace went out at about 11:00 pm on a weekend, and the maintenance technician responded right away and got it working again.
What I liked about the apartment was that it had full-size appliances. I also appreciated that there were coin-operated washing machines and dryers in the basement, which meant that I did not have to drive to a laundromat to wash my clothes. There was also plenty of parking for residents and visitors. In addition to the three closets that my one bedroom apartment had, I was also provided with an interior storage locker.
The Heritage Apartments are on a COTA bus line that goes to the Ohio State University Campus, which made it convenient for me as a graduate student. The complex is only about 2 miles from campus and about 4 miles from downtown. What I liked the best was the on-site gym and pool. What I liked the least was that the doors were drafty and flimsy.
"Good location but totally not safe"
This is not a safe place for me, for sure. There were some rumors that drug dealers used to live in here. If u like waking up with bugs all over your bed and pillow, well, then my friend, this is the perfect place for you. Other than that, the personal tries to do everything that they can, but you see, they also are just employees, not owners. I see many efforts and kindness from their part but that's still useless. Nice to have an easy access to public transportation and local expressways and a 24-hour emergency maintenance but that's it. Nothing more.
"There is hope for this place"
Everything that happened in the last few years has changed a lot our style of living. I've seen many improvements which made me more comfortable and relaxed with this place. The personal exceeds their duties through respect, professionalism and rapidity, especially the maintenance service which deserves a 10+. Not such a quiet place but it's nice to see how clean everything is inside the buildings. That gives me hope for the future of this place, that's why I recommend to everyone to come and take a look. You'll also love the pool, the gym and the basketball and sand volleyball court.
