"Be prepared to be cheated out of your security deposit"
This is an incredibly convenient location with nicely maintained grounds. It is not without its defects such as an entry way locked gate that would randomly not open to let you out (this happened approximately 4 times in the 2 years I rented here). However, the three bedroom apartment that I rented at a hefty monthly rent was outdated and had carpeting that appeared to have been there for quite a few years/tenants. The tiny refrigerator was constantly freezing your dairy products (even on lowest setting) and they refused to do anything about it over the two years. The dishwasher was a total joke and necessitated hand washing your dishes after they went through wash. Again, no replacement. In addition to this maintenance (very responsive to other issues) would always come in with shoes on regardless of weather and walk through apartment. After two years of faithful on time payment of agreed upon rent the brand new obviously very green manager decided to deduct $85 from my security deposit for a "bleach" stain in master bedroom carpeting (no such stain) and for a broken master bedroom blind that was literally $5 at Walmart. I know this because I had purchased a perfect match replacement blind for one of the other bedrooms previously at a cost of less than $6. I have rented from two other local apartment complexes in area and never had a bit of trouble of over a security deposit. This manager is either completely clueless or the management company likes to cheat tenants out of their money. Security deposits are not for expected wear and tear. Security deposits are for DAMAGE. I should have taken them to small claims court for breach of contract for their non working appliances in the apartment instead of being a decent person and just dealing with situation.
