"Decent Apartments in a Great Area"
I lived at these apartments when the ownership changed. When it was Camden Gardens, I really loved the staff. Everyone was super friendly. A lot of residents would go into the office to chat or bring their dog in for a treat. The leasing staff recognized everyone by name. It was like a little family, especially when they would have events in the office. I didn’t stay that long after the transition, but it is hard to imagine that the feeling stayed the same.
As far as the apartments go, they aren’t anything special. The carpet is rough, the appliances are old, the cabinets are rickety and the blinds break easily. The rooms are small and the paint on the walls does not clean easily, even in the dining room. There was carpet in the dining room, which was a disaster with kids. The pool is nice, but it gets hot quickly since there is not a lot of shade. It does have a great grill area. They have a hot tub which is unique since a lot of apartments are getting rid of them.
There isn’t a lot of greenery, but there is a couple of big walking parks in nearby Addison. The school district is really nice. It is close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. There are two great malls nearby and the tollway makes it easy to get just about anywhere.
