"Appropriate for Certain Uni Students"
After two years of living in the dormitories at the University of Arizona, I decided it was time to move out and get an apartment. I rented a two bedroom, two bathroom furnished apartment at the "Gateway at Tucson" in Tucson, Arizona. I really liked that the apartment had a washing machine and dryer inside the unit. Having my own kitchen was a huge upgrade as well. The bathroom was mine and mine alone. It was attached to my bedroom and I really appreciated the privacy, especially after living in the dorms. It was fantastic to be able to have all my make-up organized on the counter top and not have to haul things back and forth anymore. The apartment complex was a short drive straight down Broadway Boulevard to the university, which was convenient.
I'd rate the unit three out of five stars. The reason it's only three stars is because of my party animal neighbors. I was a serious student. The complex caters to all types of students and some of those students were not so studious. The cops were called due to noise disturbances multiple times. I vividly remember trying to study for my first organic chemistry test and the neighbors beneath my unit, on the first floor, were having an all night rager. I ended up spending the night in the university library so that I could have some peace and quiet.
If you're a university student and having multiple parties nearby appeals, then maybe Gateway is right for you. If that's not appealing, perhaps search for a complex not filled with college kids.
