"Money hungry monsters"

(((( When people write bad reviews I think, oh those are just the people that don't pay their bills, or they got evicted, or they did something ridiculous that got them in trouble. Well I am here to say the is NOT the case because I have to write one of these reviews and I have done nothing but tried to be an honest a good person as well as a respectable resident)))) . I would give these people 3 piles of crap if I could put no stars. These people do nothing but lie and cheat to steal your money! I am so disappointed with the management and their service! I loved the location, the apartments are nice, and I feel safe in the community but the management completely ruins this place! I have gotten screwed over by them constantly. They give no notice for maintenance, you wake up with a sign on your door that says we will be here in the morning and need your dogs put away, furniture moved, ect. That is not even 24 hours its like 4. In addition their lawn care maintenance crew was illegally spraying their property, not only did they not post what/ where they were spraying, but they in fact did not even have a permit to spray in the state of Colorado. My dog as well as many others got very sick costing us all unnecessary time, money, and caused emotional distress over my pets health. After another tenant and I tried to take pictures the staff would take off and the office claimed they "knew nothing" about this. Another tenant informed me they reported them to the FDA, I'm not sure how that case ended. Our neighbors had two dogs that barked 24 hours a day and we complained to the office many times. They said this is not their responsibility to deal with this, even though a noise complaint and consequence is in the lease. We finally video taped the dogs at 11:00 at night scratching at the door. After showing the office they say, " oh that is messing up our door" surprise surprise something happened the next day. They tried to say one of our checks bounced and charge us $100. Our bank have to prove to them that they were lying and we had the money in the account for over a week before rent was due. At that point the apartment "admitted they were wrong." However each resident gets one "freebie" late rent which they of course took from us even though we paid on time. They had the lots painted and refused to let anyone know ( even though they knew this was happening 3 weeks prior). Therefore, half the complex came home to their cars towed and moved to random places around the area. One of our cars was damaged the landlord and the towing company pointed fingers at each other and it is fair to say nothing became of the claim. We called the apartment back and they said we were acting like "children" and the property manager hung up on us. This was the last straw! We went in and put our notice in the next day. Last but not least we moved out and gave them our forwarding address, and we never changed out permanent address to our apartment at the post office. Out forwarding address was our permanent address if that makes sense. When we moved out they never gave us any statements regarding our deposit. I was writing a letter demanding our money because it had been more than 60 days, and we had received nothing. In the state of Colorado they have to give you a reason for keeping your deposit/ or give you your money within this time. Of course they didn't and I receive a call from a collection agency, saying I owe them $800! Are you kidding me! There is no reason or excuse for not mailing me my information. I will be calling corporate and most likely going to court over this. I should have know this place was insane when we first went to look at them, a lady was screaming in their because the pool doors didn't lock, which breaks a safety code. A child out and about almost drowned. These people are selfish and greedy and only put effort into stealing people's honest money. This has been the worst experience of my life.
