Sales
SDR Consumer Leasing
We are looking for a sales development superstar. In this Cambridge, MA-based role, you will help our online renters navigate the apartment search and application process on our site -- answering questions, reviewing qualifications, and helping them submit their rental applications. You’ll also work closely with our Property Management partners to save them time and deliver optimal value by sending them highly qualified applicants and helping to facilitate the leasing process. You will also collaborate closely with the broader ApartmentAdvisor team to help to develop and evolve our operations as we scale the business.
What you’ll do:
- Manage and respond to inquiries from prospective renters who are interested in renting an apartment.
- Guide the renters through the rental process, including qualifying their applications and offering advice and options to increase their success at finding a new home.
- Submit applications on behalf of renters, handling sensitive information according to our strict security standards.
- Work with our property management partners to field questions, screen applicants, inquire about availability, confirm pricing, and facilitate leases.
- Build long-term, trusted relationships with both property managers and renters.
- Provide high level reports on the status of our applicants to internal stakeholders.
- Share user and property feedback with the team so we can continue to build a great product.
Who you are:
- You have at least one year of sales or customer support experience in a professional environment.
- You’re a highly motivated self-starter and love taking on new projects – you have the ability and the mindset to “get stuff done.”
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to connect with a wide variety of people.
- You’re organized and detail oriented, and you can handle multiple tasks at the same time.
- You can recognize problems and can work autonomously to troubleshoot and resolve them.
- Bachelor’s degree required, experience using Salesforce preferred
- Bonus: Experience in the multi-family industry or property management

Account Executive
We are looking for a dynamic Account Executive with a proven track record of success managing the sales cycle from initial call to close. In this Cambridge, MA based role, you will be responsible for working directly with prospective clients, including contacting property managers, outlining the ApartmentAdvisor value proposition, closing deals, and successfully onboarding property rental listings onto our platform. You will also collaborate closely with the broader ApartmentAdvisor team to help to develop and evolve our operations as we scale the business. This will be an exciting and challenging role for the right individual.
What you’ll do:
- Create, grow, and maintain relationships with Property Management Companies and successfully engage with decision makers.
- Develop your sales pipeline by making outbound calls and using targeted email campaigns.
- Understand the ApartmentAdvisor value proposition and position in the market, and clearly articulate the benefits of working with us.
- Identify market leaders to maximize the number of paid and free listings being added to our platform.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales goals.
- Contribute feedback to the entire team by using your analytical, presentation and problem-solving skills.
Who you are:
- You have one or more years of experience selling online marketing solutions.
- You are familiar with online advertising solutions.
- You can effectively work with limited supervision.
- You know Salesforce or another industry standard CRM and have a working knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- You’re organized and detail oriented, and you can handle multiple tasks at the same time.
- You’re motivated to succeed, and are able adapt to a changing environment at a high growth company.
- You recognize the value of clear communication, relationship building, and persistence.
- Bachelor’s degree required, experience using Salesforce preferred
