Apartment Advisor Annual Housing Scholarship

About Apartment Advisor

We're Apartment Advisor, a national apartment review site. If you're looking for a place to live, be sure to search for an apartment on our site where you can read reviews from people who have actually lived there! After you move from an apartment complex, write a review so others can hear about your experience.

Scholarship Details

At Apartment Advisor we know that your dorm room or your apartment is your sanctuary. After a long day of bouncing around from class to class, or a long night of studying in the library, you want to come home to a place that is comfortable, clean, and a safe haven from the stress of the college experience.

Unfortunately, on or off campus housing can be expensive! To help with these costs, we are awarding one student a $1,000 scholarship to put towards their housing. From rent to stocking your fridge, to toiletries or a new flat screen, the scholarship money can be used to cover any of the expenses associated with on or off campus housing.

Deadline

The deadline to apply is August 31, 2017.*

How to enter

Eligible students should submit a 1,000 word essay to scholarship@apartmentadvisor.com describing their dream dorm room or off-campus apartment. What special amenities would it have in it? How many bedrooms or bathrooms? Are there games to help you relax, or a library to help you study? Do you want to live alone or with a group of friends? Get creative!

Essays will be judged based on the following criteria: content, style and creativity. One essay per entrant only. Please include your name, college or university at which you are enrolled full time, mailing and email address.

Who is eligible?

How will we announce the winner?

The winner will be featured on ApartmentAdvisor's blog. We will post his or her name, photo, school they are attending, along with the winning essay.
